Anything You Want

Why do you cry? I wonder,
when you have all that you need.
You have a flair for the dramatic,
eruption of the prickly seed.
Leaves lie littered in your wake,
the bellows disturb my ears,
for you could hurt none with your gaze,
but day approaches near.
I will give you all you want,
any thing that you desire,
to chance that I might quell your rage,
and dampen out the fire.

Accept the gifts you’re given,
love them and keep them close,
for there is medicine in them,
put down your daily dose.
Anything you want is yours,
just say the word and I
will bring the whole world to your door,
the land, the sea, the sky.
